Narnia: Through the Wardrobe

Enter the beautiful world of C.S. Lewis with this full-sized sculpture. Inside the wardrobe you can see the four coats for the children hanging, waiting to be picked up for their adventure. Lucy and Mr. Tumnus head off to his house for tea, leaving behind the frosted lamppost that marks the separation between Narnia and our world. The witch's winter castle looms off to the right, waiting to be defeated by Aslan and the Pevensies.

This sculpture is made out of a hardback of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. The wardrobe is made out of descriptions of the wardrobe from the book, the lamppost out of (you guessed it!) descriptions of the lamppost, and the witch's castle is made from descriptions of Cair Paravel in anticipation of the witch's downfall. The doors of the wardrobe alone took five hours to get just right. The sculpture is battery operated with replaceable batteries. I actually made this sculpture quite awhile ago, but held off putting it into my shop because it is so dear to me. Lucy has always been my favorite heroine, and the world of Narnia one of the places I most wish I could travel. It is time for it to bless and delight someone else, however! If you love epic stories and whimsical adventures, this sculpture will bring joy and wonder into your home.
